Advanced All Mountain Ski Courses

MAXIMIZE YOUR POTENTIAL

This ski course has been designed for skiers who have already grapsed the skills required to ski most off piste snow conditions found within a ski area. Typically you can get around ok off piste, but are looking to consolidate & improve your off piste skiing.

Your skiing will be developed in a versatile way. The focus is on tuning your technique whilst teaching you  adjustments to cope with a variety of snow and terrain conditions encountered off-piste. As the snow changes in texture and depth you will learn how to adapt your skiing to cope with these changes.

Your skiing will improve as you discover how your skis react to the movements and adjustments you make. As you progress so will your confidence allowing you to ski more challenging snow and terrain.

During the course, we will ski off piste and backcountry terrain that is accessible by the lifts. Sometimes a short hike to the very top can provide us with a better descent.

The following aspects of your skiing will be developed:

  • Turning elements
  • Adjustments for off-piste snow conditions
  • Terrain, snow and line tactics
  • Carving, bumps, steeper slopes
  • Avalanche/  Backcountry mountain awareness

Week long and weekend ski courses available

The 2 day weekend ski courses are condensed versions of our 5 day courses. The aim of the weekend is to cover the major parts of the 5 day skiing course using a maximum activity approach. That means lots of great  skiing with tips and tactics for snow and terrain.
