Advanced All Mountain Ski Courses

All ski courses are run by elite British ski instructor Mark Gear.

The advanced ski course has been designed for advanced skiers who have already grapsed the skills required to ski most off piste snow conditions. Typically you can get around ok off piste, but are looking to consolidate & improve your off piste skiing.

Your skiing will be developed in a versatile way. The focus is on tuning your technique whilst teaching you  adjustments to cope with a variety of snow and terrain conditions encountered off-piste. As the snow changes in texture and depth you will learn how to adapt your skiing to cope with these changes.

Your skiing will improve as you discover how your skis react to the movements and adjustments you make. As you progress so will your confidence allowing you to ski more challenging snow and terrain.

During the advanced ski courses, we will ski some great off piste and backcountry terrain that is accessible by the lifts. Sometimes a short hike to the very top can provide us with a better descent.

Understand the most up to date skiing techniques and freeride tactics, delivered by an elite level ski teacher. You will receive a personalised development programme with daily video feedback.

On advanced ski courses the following aspects of your skiing will be developed:

  • Personal performance awarness
  • Develop steering movements
  • Off-piste & freeride skills
  • Terrain, snow and line tactics
  • Skiing steeper slopes
  • Skiing gullies & couliors
  • Avalanche/  Backcountry mountain awareness
