That’s right, when I’m not coaching skiers, I’m painting them

I’m excited to share some big news from my art studio: My skiing artwork is featured in the new book Ski & Art by Katie Bamber. This global publication explores the intersection of skiing and visual art, bringing together a group of professional artists from around the world whose work is inspired by mountains and ski culture.

It’s an honor to have a 10 page spread in this global art book showcasing a selection of my work, including a Q&A interview alongside the other amazing artists from around the world.

About the Book

Ski & Art is a visual tribute to the world of skiing, where adrenaline, landscape and creativity come together. In this richly illustrated book, author Katie Bamber explores how ski culture inspires artists – from iconic alpine posters to illustrations that make the powder fly off the page. Ski & Art, the successor to Surf & Art and Skate & Art, tells the story of a lifestyle shaped by mountain communities, subcultures and a shared love of freedom and expression. Bamber selected the 22 artists who define the skiing art scene, interviewed them and showcases their finest work. My Work in the Book

For years, skiing and the mountains have been a major source of inspiration for my art. The play of light on the snow, the movement of skiers across the terrain, and the sense of freedom found in the mountains all influence the way I approach colour, form, and composition. To have my work recognised and included in Ski & Art is very rewarding.
