Freeride skiing itself is an art but the true art of freeride skiing is about more than just making turns in deep powder. It’s about freedom, creativity, expression, adaptabilty and adventure making your own line down the mountain. As a professional artist, former freeride competitor and elite international ski instructor based in Chamonix, I’ve spent decades skiing and coaching on some of the world’s most iconic off-piste mountains. My freeride skiing art is inspired by my experiences, transforming the excitement of steep faces, floating powder and dramatic alpine light into colourful contemporary paintings in acrylics on canvas. I don’t just paint freeride skiing, I live it!
