OFF PISTE SKI CLINICS AND COURSES IN CHAMONIX FOR INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED AND EXPERT SKIERS

These 2 day weekend ski courses are condensed versions of our 5 day courses. The aim of the weekend is to cover the major parts of the 5 day skiing course using a maximum activity approach. That means lots of great skiing with tips and tactics for snow and terrain. The technical focus of the weekend ski courses is to develope your skiing in a variety of conditions and terrain improving your control and versatility.

All weekend ski courses Include:
2 full days of ski coaching and guiding with an All Mountain Performance professional
Daily video feedback on your performance (An informal get together at the end of the day to relax with a drink and watch the days events)
We run 3 levels of all mountain performance - Off piste ski courses. Intermediate, Advanced and Expert courses are available throughout the season. You can choose to do a 5 day ski course or a weekend course.
All Mountain / off piste performance ski courses include:
Full days of coaching/guiding withskilift priority. Typical skiing time 9-12 then 12:40 - 4pm
Daily video feedback after skiing 4pm - 4:45pm
Private Minibus transport for skiing. Your ski coach will pick you up at your accommodation and drop you off each day.
With a maximum of 6 per group for lots of individual feedback, your skiing will be developed in a variety of conditions and terrain on and off piste, maximizing your ability to ski the whole mountain. Master your off piste skiing, learn to feel ultimate control on steeps, gullies and couloirs. Perfect your piste performance by developing your carving skills. You will benefit from word-class ski coaching and video feedbackby some of the best ski instructors in the business. Also this season we are offering freeride off piste ski courses for expert skiers.

Why Chamonix for our off piste ski clinics and private lessons.
Chamonix has the reputation for being the world capital of off piste and freeride skiing. There are 6 extensive ski areas offering a huge amount of easy to acess off piste skiing routes. Chamonix off piste is good for all levels of off piste skier from powder novice to powder to expert rider. With some of the highest altitude skiing in Europe providing a superb snow record. Chamonix the ideal place for us to run our off piste / all mountain ski courses and clinics
Each Chamonix ski area offers a different type of terrain. Le Brevent and la Flegere are great for couloirs and bowl skiing for all levels of off piste skier. The variety of terrain the ski area offers makes this a favorite area on our ski courses.
Further up the Chamonix valley Les Grands Montets is a massive mountain with undoubtedly some of the best skiing in the world .The Grands Montets provides high north facing slopes and very easy to access off piste skiing which is why it is where famous freeriders hang out. Glaciers on the upper sections lead down to wide open bowl skiing with steeps and couloirs. The tree skiing and in-to valley couloirs are also great for expert skiers. At the Grands Montets we can often ski 10000 vertical meters per day on our expert and freeeride ski courses. A great lift system opens up 3 sides to this amazing ski mountain.
Le Tour at the high end of the Chamonix valley is great for all levels on piste and off piste. The front side is easy terrain for beginner off piste skiers. This is an ideal place for us to take intermediate level ski courses on the first couple of days of the course with the back side offering some very nice terrain for more advanced and expert skiing.
The Aiguile du Midi lift takes skiers and alpinists from Chamonix town to an impressive altitude of 3842 meters. This is not a ski area for piste skiing. All the runs are off piste and on a glacier making the skiing more serious. A high mountain guide is advised for this.
Les Houches is situated as at the lower end of the Chamonix valley and offers more gentle terrain than the rest of the valley. There are many tree-lined pistes and some off piste skiing to be found in our secret spots. Les Houches is also where the mens world cup combined event, The Kandahar, is held. Some of the best skiers in the world race in downhill and slalom over a 2 day event. This is a great place to ski in the Chamonix valley when the weather is bad as the slopes are shelterd by pine trees.
